Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year here at JMCA! I would like to take this opportunity to reintroduce myself. I am Victor Claud, and I am starting my 15th year of teaching overall, and my 8th year here at JMCA. I am excited to be your 4th-grade teacher for the coming school year! I like to remind my students that although I am a teacher, I am also a parent first. I have a wonderful young daughter named Chelsey; as well as an awesome son named Grayson whom I am very proud of. (I also have a wonderful wife named Karen that I’ve been married to for over 25 years)! Time has flown by as I recall watching many of your sons and daughters grow from year to year here at JMCA! Thank you for all that you have done for your sons and daughters, it’s been a pleasure to watch them grow into wonderful young students. Speaking of wonderful young students, Robin Williams (in the movie Dead Poets Society) was once quoted as saying –
“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.”
I believe that our children will indeed change the world. It happens one smile and one step at a time.
