We are a K-8 public charter school, within the Widefield community. Our small class sizes allow for more personalized attention for each student that attends; our classes cap at 22 students, but average around 15. James Madison Charter Academy is a vibrant learning community of children, parents, teachers, and support staff members working as a team toward continual progress in developing the potential of each of our students. All of our staff members know each student by name and classroom teachers greet each student personally every morning. Relationships are built and trust is a result. We are project oriented in k-3 and project based in 4-8. All classes participate in service-learning projects, teaching students how to be active members of their community. JMCA works to build the whole student, academically, socially, and emotionally.
